Somatic Psychotherapy
Somatic psychotherapy is a form of therapy that integrates psychological and physical approaches to help individuals address emotional issues and traumas that are stored in the body. This type of therapy recognizes the connection between the mind and body, exploring how experiences, emotions, and memories can manifest physically. Somatic psychotherapy techniques aim to release tension, stress, and emotional blockages held within the body through various exercises, movement, touch, and awareness practices. By focusing on bodily sensations, movements, and gestures, somatic psychotherapy helps individuals process and integrate past experiences, leading to improved emotional well-being and overall mental health. Services include:
-
EMDR

Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAP)
PAP is a therapeutic approach that involves the controlled use of a potent psychoactive substance in combination with psychotherapy techniques to help clients enter into non-ordinary states to access deeper levels of consciousness, reveal meaningful insights and facilitate deep transformation and change.
The Therapy Collective currently offers Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in a range of options that vary by provider. Providers will work with you on preparation, journey exploration and integration.
Psychedelic-Assisted Harm Reduction & Integration (PHRI) is also a service provided to support exploration, processing and understanding in clients who use and have a relationship with psychedelic substances outside of the therapeutic context. PHRI combines the utilization of traditional psychotherapeutic skills with harm reduction practices around substance use.
